Our field trip is a multi-modal arts education experience including a preparatory workshop for students, professional development for educators, a comprehensive study guide, an interactive Living History, and a Q&A with cast and crew – in addition to a high-quality professional performance of a Shakespeare or other play presented at Theatricum’s beautiful 299-seat outdoor amphitheater in the Santa Monica mountains.
Note:
No transportation is provided for this activity. Carpooling is encouraged. Cars will be directed to park on Topanga Cyn. Blvd., north of the theatre. Parking is available for free along Topanga Cyn Blvd.
Adult Participation is optional.
Parents are welcome; tickets are required for everyone attending, including parents.
Arrival Time: Between 9:15-9:45 am
Warm-up improvisations in theatre until all schools have arrived.
Living History: 10:00-10:25
Technique Workshops: 10:25-11:00
Lunch: 11:00-11:30
Schools must bring their own lunches and water.
Theatricum has NO food service on site.
Performance & Q&A: 11:30 am -1:15 pm
