Trina is a former public school teacher, who taught high school English and elementary school. Homeschooling her own wildly different thinkers gave her the chance to completely reimagine the classroom. She loves to learn by doing, whether it is cooking, exploring on the trail, playing games, or cracking open a poem. Trina has a degree in English from UCLA (with a minor in French), an expired multi-subject teaching credential from Cal State Dominguez Hills, a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University, a certificate in Professional Baking, California Naturalist Certification, and an ADHD diagnosis.
